Are you insured?
YES we have $1,000,000 in liability insurance
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
Not at all our music library is huge and perpetually growing and I will most likely have any song requested however if I do not have it I will simply use my 3G wireless internet to download as many songs as is needed to to fill every request all at no extra cost.
 
What is your usual attire?
For weddings I normally wear a three piece suite. But if you have a special request or theme I can work with it.
 
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Nop. I will get it at no extra cost. If it is very rear and can not be found I may ask the client to provide it but not until I have made every effort to get it myself.
 
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have one full time DJ that is me, one part time DJ, and one DJ in training. Because I feel weddings are far to important I personally DJ ALL of the weddings we book and take personal responsibility for the clients happiness with the DJ service.
 
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Yes four hours
 
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely, in fact I rarely book any event without first meeting the client in person.
 
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Of course in fact I recommend doing so. Because I personally take responsibility for making sure your happy I defiantly do not want to play any songs you do not want to hear.
 
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, we bring all of our equipment, music and extension cords. Generally the venue provides a table but if that is not the case we will bring our own at no extra cost.
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes we have a great dance floor lights package that is as one client put it "a no brainier" we charge less for our awesome lights package than most DJs do for their cheesy blinking bulbs.
 
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Between 20 and 45 minutes depending on what package you book but we always give ourselves at least 1 hour to set up and we never charge any setup fee or for set up time.
 
Do you have any extra space requirements?
If you get our lights they come on a ten foot truss
 
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
no just cards
 
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
First I just have to say this because it bugs me; it is MC it stands for master of ceremony not emcee. Now that that is out of the way yes I do MC and can make any announcements. If you want me to take and liven up the crowed I can its all up to you.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I may take a break but the music doesn’t. I may need to go to the bathroom or something but I first set an autoplay play list and I will never go far enough away that I can not hear the music, just incase it were to suddenly stop or something.
 
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Always and will never get far enough away that I cant hear it.
 
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have back up equipment, music, lights, computers and DJs
 
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
no
 
What is your overtime rate?
Believe it or not it is actually $15 per hour less than the regular rate. I don’t see it as overtime I see it as you buying DJ service in bulk.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Never have before. I will DJ from Huntsville to Galveston, from Katy to Baytown and all the surrounding area including Bryan College Station with no travel fee. If you want me to go much farther than that we would have to talk about it.
 
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
